This happened earlier in the month when I started putting the Christmas tree up. This is Luna's first Christmas. You can't say I don't have the patience with kittens (more of a cat these days).
I uploaded a video on YouTube showcasing my initial reaction to the build and design of the WiiM Sub Pro after removing the subwoofer from the box. However, it’s important to note that this video is not a review as I haven’t even powered on the system or connected it to my WiiM Amp Ultra or WiiM Ultra. The video is embedded below or you can view it directly at YouTube.
Any opinions or information expressed in the video may change as I haven’t had the opportunity to review the product or write an article about it. While I intend to publish a comprehensive review in an article, I currently don’t have any plans to create a full review video.
I love those Progressive commercials where they warn you to "not be like parents". I laugh at them because more times than not, I'm already at the "parent level" of behaviors and obsessions. This latest video from Progressive on weather nerds though hits close to home. After working for more than 30 years with the National Weather Service, I and many of my coworkers can't help but talk this way. Enjoy!
Just a brief video below of this year's Christmas decorations in the front of my house. Along with the ride is our family dog, Jasmine! Nothing else special to see here, but since I posted this video on my social media accounts, I decided it should also be posted on my blog.
In the video, I sound like I'm out of breath I don't know why except that I started putting up the decorations too late int he day and needed complete the task before sunset.
For two-wheeled motorcyclists a 382 mile trip is quite doable but can still be a challenging trip when crossing the high plains and mountains. Only the dumbest people would do such a lengthy trip two-up on a mini bike though. If you recall that's what exactly happened in the movie Dumb and Dumber with the shows two main characters, Lloyd Christmas (played by Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (played by Jeff Daniels).
But if the mini bike scene in the movie isn't funny enough for you, what would happen if you made this same trip from the plains of Nebraska to Aspen, Colorado for real? That's exactly what Zack Courts and Ari Henning did in a YouTube video for RevZilla and Common Thread XP.
I have spent the last five years trying to teach Jasmine, our family dog, to fetch my paper. As you can see in the video, she wants nothing to do with the paper. In fact my friends will argue she has taught me well in picking up my own paper.
So my 15 minutes of fame for 2021 has already happened. I was interviewed by Dakota News Now at the end of 2020 which aired on KSFY and KDLT the first day of this year.
My son asked me why the local news was doing the interview. The short answer, I'm getting old.
Out of boredom, I decided to post this video of our cat Maya.
For whatever reason, our cat prefers to watch people in the kitchen from the bar stool with paws over the counter. If she had a beer in hand I'd call her Norm (from Cheers).
So without any additional introduction, here is a video to enjoy or waste three minutes of your time.
Trying out YouTube TV for the first time. I'm a current DirecTV Now subscriber and have used SlingTV in the past.
Technically, YouTube TV isn't being offered for my area so I used the zip code of another location I visit often. For my area, local channels aren't currently available via YouTube TV but I'm OK with that since for the past few years we've been getting our local channels through an antenna and utilizing a TiVO for our DVR. I estimate that we've saved around $2,000 in the past three years by not subscribing to Cable or Satellite TV with this arrangement.
